 Margaret Clune GiblinMargaret Clune Giblin, J.D., M.C.P., is a Policy Analyst with CPR. She is also an adjunct lecturer in the Environmental Science & Policy program at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she teaches Introduction to Environmental Law. From 2007-08, she served as the Director of the College Park Scholars-Environmental Studies program at the University of Maryland. Ms. Giblin originally joined CPR in June 2004. Prior to that, she worked as a rural area planner for the Baltimore County, Maryland Office of Planning, focusing on issues affecting the County’s agricultural areas. While there, she was also working toward her Master in Community Planning (with a specialization in land use and environmental planning) from the University of Maryland, which she earned in 2005.
From 2002-03, she practiced in the Environmental and Commercial Litigation groups of the Baltimore office of Piper Rudnick LLP (now DLA Piper). She earned her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2002, graduating with Honor as a member of the Order of the Coif, and with a certificate in environmental law. While in law school, she served on the Board of the Maryland Environmental Law Society and worked as a volunteer for the Maryland Environmental Trust, a statewide land trust. A “triple terp,” she also earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maryland, where she was elected into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. |
